This past weekend, we went to my 10 YEAR High School Reunion. It was a crazy whirlwind weekend but so much fun! Mandy came all the way from Colorado and brought her lovely husband. We didn’t have much chance to get to know Marty at their wedding, but I have now deemed him exceedingly awesome. Allison came all the way from Alabama and it’s always fun to see my Birthday Babe! Colleen’s boyfriend Allan gets MAJOR points for tolerating all that Warner Robins has to offer with a smile on his face. Jim Bob and Holly even made the trip, risking a possible backseat delivery, but I’m happy to report that Baby Hatton is still safely in Mommy’s tummy.

We had three events–Friday night meet and greet, Saturday afternoon Family Day, and a banquet Saturday night where we all got gussied up. It was truly great to see all these people I never get to see anymore. I have to say that the vast majority turned out exactly as I had expected. With the possible exception of a certain Mike Mead who decorates cakes. Who saw that one coming? Anyway–a fun weekend that brought back all my memories of high school and then some.

And I have to brag on my girls a bit. They both did SO WELL. It was Zoe’s first trip away from home, and she slept like a champ in the Pack N Play. Avery slept in a big girl bed for the first time, and she did awesome as well. Thankfully, Granny and Dave invited us to stay at their house even though they were out of town. This truly made our stay so much easier and enjoyable–I just wish they would have been there so we could visit. But we did get to see Aunt Karen. Honestly, I think she was just there to snuggle on Zoe. And I can’t say I blame her in the least. Zoe is awfully snuggly, after all.

The weekend went by far too quickly–I feel as though I didn’t get nearly enough pictures, or talk to nearly enough people. How do you cram ten years of news into a few days? I guess that’s how these things go though. Wendy, Antoinette, Mandy, and Melissa did an AWESOME job planning and making sure we all had a good time. I’m already looking forward to our 20th.
