Late Night TV and Nursing Bras

Zoe is now 4 days old and is an absolute angel. Our first night at home Tuesday was a little dicey–she wanted to nurse and nurse and nurse some more. So I didn’t sleep much. Last night was soooo much better. She woke up like clockwork every two hours, nursed, then promptly fell back asleep. I’m pretty sure it’s because my milk came in some time yesterday. So needless to say–breastfeeding is going so much better this time around.
Avery is still a little unsure of this little alien we brought into her space, but I think she’s handling it pretty well. She gets concerned when Zoe cries, and wants to know where she is if she can’t see her. Avery’s been getting lots of Daddy time, so I think that’s helping alot.
It’s amazing how much Zoe looks like her big sister, only with blonde hair. When she’s wearing a hat, the resemblance is amazing. She will have her first pediatric appointment tomorrow and I am soooo looking forward to getting out of this house for a little while!
And let me apologize to EVERYONE that I owe phonecalls to. I’m hoping I can start returning some this afternoon/evening.

I know you have heard this already I am sure, but she looks JUST LIKE YOU! I am glad to hear you are doing well. We have been thinking of you all. Such a beautiful family. I am so glad we have websites to keep in touch.
