Red Eyed Tree Frog, with Bugs (And Poo)
Avery got a toy red eyed tree frog at the zoo last time we were there. One morning this week, she decided to draw its picture and give it to Aunt Kelly. Here’s the end result. You can see the frog on the left, leaves/trees and bugs on the right. Here’s her subject–
Now. About that poo. It’s a common theme in Miss Avery’s drawings this week. It started with a cat she drew for Grandma. There was a suspicious brown spot near its bottom, so I asked her about it. “That’s poop, Mommy.” And so it began.
Here’s a close-up. See that greenish-brown color surrounding the poo? That’s a “Poop Catcher”. I have NO IDEA what a poop catcher is or why a tree frog would need it, but the artist says it’s important. We’re all about artistic freedom here, even if it involves excrement. EVERYBODY POOPS, y’all.

lol Desmond says poopoo now, its always “bye bye poopoo” when we get near a toilet. that is pretty hilarious that yours draw it.
